Project Drishti also conducts mega camps where on an average 1500 people are screened free of cost for eye ailments. Medicines/ eye drops are provided free of cost and so are spectacles (eyeglasses). Free Blood Pressure and urine sugar testing is undertaken for those in need of surgeries. During their three-day stay at the base hospital, patients undergo cataract removal surgeries through the Intra-Ocular Lens implantation procedure. They are also provided food and accommodation completely free of cost.
