BANGALORE: Project Drishti team has left for Cambodia to participate in the FREE EYE CAMP conducted in association with ROTARY CLUB OF SINGAPORE, ROTARY CLUB OF PNOMPNEH, CAMBODIA AND ROTARY BANGALORE BRIGADE.
The team headed by Dr Narpat Solanki is going to perform Free Eye Screening followed by Eye Operations, in the camp to be conducted between 7th to 12th March 2008. The services rendered to the needy locals shall be carried with the support from the local Doctors there.
The team including Dr Zulfikar shall TRAIN the Cambodian Doctors regarding the latest development in QUALITY EYE SURGERIES. Dr Solanki shall also address the Doctors during the Two- Day workshop on various issues including concerns and challenges in Eye Care.
It is noteworthy that Project Drishti Team is going for the fourth time to Cambodia to render Services to the Under-Privileged. Prior to this, the team had performed more than 300 Free Eye Operations in rural areas, 200 km away from Pnompneh, the Capital of Cambodia.
This time the team is not only going to share its expertise and experience ,but also donate ophthalmic equipments and machinery needed for latest eye surgeries. |
